The Western Fair has been an annual event in London since 1868, and has grown to become Canada's seventh largest fair. The fair runs for 10 days every September bringing tourists from Southwestern Ontario and farther. Each year the program expands to include more exhibits, concerts and animals.

This annual event promotes the history and culture of London by encouraging visitors and locals to explore the city's many heritage buildings and significant landmarks. Museums, historic homes, the old fire hall, places of worship and natural sanctuaries are free-of-charge and open to the public.
